This year's World Poker Tour (WPT) 2010 Legends of Poker tournament has attracted considerably more players than previous years, 462 compared - there were 279 in 2009 - but the tournament prize pool has dropped from $2.63 million to $2.15 million.

The tournament is at the Bicycle Casino in Los Angeles and this year the buy-in dropped from $10,000 to $5,000, hence the larger field. The winner plays out Wednesday August 25. Last year saw winner Prahlad 'Spirit Rock' Friedman take down November Niner Kevin Schaffel; others at that final table were Todd Terry, Toto Leonidas, Sam 'KingKobeMVP' Stein and Mike Krescanko.
